Use a penny sleeve plus a semi-rigid holder — never a top loader for submissions.

Insure anything over $200; carriers only cover a small amount by default.

Before you pack it, give the surface one pass with a dry microfibre cloth. That is the only condition issue you can improve — centering, whitening and corners are permanent.

Prices and turnaround times move with demand. Check the grader before you post.

How to submit, step by step

  1. 1

    Check the card first

Use the Photo tab to get a realistic grade estimate. If the card won't grade well, save the fee — grading a low-grade card rarely pays off.

  2. 2

Pick your grader and service level

Tap your recommended grader above to open their website. Choose a service tier that matches the card's value — declared value caps the insurance on the way back.

  3. 3

Create an account and fill in the submission form

Enter each card's name, set, year and card number exactly as printed. Print the form or note the submission number — it goes in the parcel.

  4. 4

    Sleeve every card

Penny sleeve first, then a semi-rigid holder (Card Saver). Never send cards in top loaders or binders — most graders reject them.

  5. 5

    Pack the parcel

Stack the sleeved cards between two pieces of cardboard, wrap snugly so nothing moves, and include the printed form. No loose cards, no rubber bands.

  6. 6

    Post it tracked and insured

Send tracked and signed-for, insured to the cards' full value. Keep the receipt and tracking number until the slabs are back in your hands.

  7. 7

    Wait, then check your grades

You'll get an email when grading finishes. Log the grades and new values in your Collection so your portfolio stays up to date.
